Welcome

Welcome to the official documentation for SulfurLab, a Sulfur Cube laboratory for Paper & Spigot servers — spawn, tune, and manage Sulfur Cubes with fully custom physics.

INFO

SulfurLab is built for the Chaos Cubed update (Minecraft 26.2+) and runs on Java 25, the same as your server. See the Setup page for the full requirements.

##What is SulfurLab?

SulfurLab turns Sulfur Cubes into a sandbox you fully control. Give each cube its own physics — how high it bounces, how far it slides, how slowly it falls — pick the block it shows off, name it, and SulfurLab keeps it around across restarts.

  • Custom physics per cube — set bounciness, friction, and air drag individually, each validated to the range Minecraft actually accepts (no silent clamping).
  • Pick the displayed block — choose any block the cube "wears" and bounces around with.
  • Named cubes with JSON persistence — every cube is saved to sulfurs.json, survives restarts, re-binds to its entity, and re-applies its physics on load.
  • Powerful commands with full tab-completion — complete cube names, the @all selector, flags, block IDs, and even value hints (default / min / max) for each property.
  • Clickable cube list/sulfurlab list shows every cube; click an entry to teleport straight to it.
  • Smart teleporting — jump to a cube or bring it to you; tp even falls back to a cube's last known location if its chunk isn't loaded.
  • Create effects — a configurable note-block chime and geyser particles when a cube is born.
  • Fully configurable messages so every line matches your server's style.
  • Developer API — spawn pre-configured cubes from your own plugin with a fluent builder and ready-made physics presets.
  • Update checker to get notified of new Modrinth releases.
